Electrical safety inspection letter
As a landlord you are responsible for ensuring the electrical installations in your rental property are safe at the beginning of, and throughout, a tenancy. This includes automatic fire detection, general lighting, escape (emergency) lighting, socket-outlet, fixed wiring and portable electrical equipment.

In order to satisfy this requirement is met you should have electrical safety inspections carried out on your property on a regular basis. We have created this letter for you to send to your tenant informing them of your intention to have these checks carried out.
